to start this wall off, i've decided to showcase some of the cars that inspire me to build my own and to chase the perfect styled drift machine. the first feature in this new space will be my friend jan's s14, from team waymaker in switzerland.

jan's car has always been the extreme, trading off functionality and practicality for the pursuit of pure styling. combining aspects from early d1gp, 2000s tuner culture, a sprinkle of the aussie sex spec scene, and internet eboy aesthetic, jan's car is a unique blend of styles that match the owner in every way and show dedication to the research of style and visual identity.

from the leopard print interior to the chrome blitz wheels and scissor doors out of a 2000s car show, this car is a monument to the pursuit of uniqueness and over the top styling, executed in the perfect way. there's nothing I would change on that car, and it perfectly mirrors jan's persona and style. the perfect car/owner pairing. keep doing your thing, jan.

the start of my s14 build blog.

as of the start of this build blog, the car is finally mechanically sound, the engine has been rebuilt to fix all the fuckups by the previous owner and the current owner, and everything works pretty much perfectly. my plans going forward in the near future are going to be doing some more interior tuning, welding the diff and taking the car drifting more often. :

in the long run, i plan to get a new body kit, get new injectors to bring the power up to 350ish hp, and get as much track time as possible.

car spec list:

  1. 1996 silvia s14 (200sx), originally in concord grey metallic, repainted in a custom silvery light blue metallic.
  2. rebuilt sr20det, with forged pistons/rods, link ecu, hks cams, etc. currently making 270 wheel hp on 0.6bar boost.
  3. chargespeed front kit, vertex sides/rear. 18" volk gtc / racing hart cr / gram lights 57dr / i have too many wheels.

this is the current look as of end of 2025. planning on a livery or some sort of graphic soon, and will have eyelids and a wing hopefully end of the year.
